Before You Visit

A quick guide to help your visit go smoothly. Please read before stopping in.

What to bring

Valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID for notary and titled transactions.
Your registration renewal notice (or license plate number) for sticker renewals.
Vehicle title and any lien-release paperwork for title work.
Your bill or account number for in-store bill payment.

Accepted payment methods

Title & registration: cash, personal checks, and business checks.
Sticker renewals: cash, personal checks, and business checks.
Money orders, notary services, and photocopies/fax: cash only.
Bill payment: Cash accepted. Checks accepted only for select bill providers.

Notary tips

Do not sign your document until you are in front of the notary.
All signers must be present with valid photo ID.
We cannot notarize documents that are incomplete or missing pages.
Notary service is unavailable on Wednesdays.

A note on fees

Transaction fees vary and are set by the State of Illinois and our currency exchange. For current fees on any service, please give us a call or stop in — we're happy to walk through the details in person.
